AIMS AND SCOPE

Mineral Resources Engineering primarily publishes papers on advances in research, development and practical applications in all aspects of mining science and mining engineering technology, with the aim of speeding up the introduction and acceptance of new and improved techniques. The papers are wide ranging and, wherever possible, interdisciplinary. The journal places emphasis on computers and simulation, performance improvement, new technology in all types of mining, cost control and improvement, all aspects of safety improvement, environmental issues, rock mechanics applied to mining, strata control, mineral and coal processing, and the interface between mining and the law. It is also the official journal of the Society of Mining Professors/ Societat der Bergbaukunde and as such publishes papers on developments in mining engineering education.
